We travel down the Intracoastal Waterway on the motor trawler "SUMO" towards historic Ponce Inlet. Whether you just want great drinks and wine, fine dining, and a relaxing time or adventures with the family exploring islands and secret getaways, this cruise is for you. Whatever you can imagine from intimate gourmet cuisine to fine wines it is all here in beautiful New Smyrna Beach and Ponce Inlet.

   We leave New Smyrna Beach around 5:00pm and travel around the Disappearing Islands towards the historic Ponce Inlet Lighthouse serving cocktails and appetizers. Setting anchor we serve the main course of fresh local fish (grouper, wahoo, fresh salmon) or hand picked 8oz tenderloin steaks and side dishes of organic vegetables and home made potatoes. The sunsets and sea life are incomparable. After dinner a home made dessert and coffee is served. Wines, beer, and cocktails are served and presented upon request or you can bring your own.

   The cost of $300 includes the gourmet dinner service for 2 or 4. Alcohol is extra. Water and soft drinks are included. Each additional individual over 4 is charges $25 up to a maximum of 6 aboard, per USCG regulations. We attempt to keep the costs down to assure a quality experience for all.

   The aerial view of the standard 3 hour round trip down the Intracoastal Waterway from New Smyrna Beach to Ponce Inlet. The bareboat charter is flexible to offer cruises and times of your choice and to specific locations upon request.

   The bareboat charter allows you to customize your experience to your own personal taste. The trawler is very spacious with room and a seating arrangement that allows for very comfortable dining and uncompromising views.

   When chartering the boat you are hiring a USCG approved boat along with a USCG licensed captain and crew (admiral).

ABOUT SUMO

   This was James S. Krogen's personal home at sea during the late 80's. She is designed in much the same way as Hemingway's Pilar. SUMO made the long journey home from Jamaica to be reunited with the Kadey Krogen family of yachts. Her rich history and immaculate teak interior makes this dining experience or waterway exploration a unique adventure. Her new home in New Smyrna Beach allows for a unique trawler experience for up to 6 people.
