The trip to historic St. Augustine, Florida is an approximately 7 hour trip depending on tide and current. We leave the dock at 8:00 am and move through the beautiful homes of Ormond Beach and Palm Coast. After leaving the populated areas the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) turns into old Florida with winding river views that capture the imagination as Florida used to be. Passing historic Marineland and Fort Matanzas we enter the famous and recently renovated "Bridge of Lions" into the oldest city in the U.S., historic St. Augustine. The boat is moored at the downtown docks and reservations are made at historic bed and breakfasts along the water front. The evening is yours to enjoy and discover. The trip can leave the next morning or you can stay and additional day and visit some of the most historic and fun loving attractions you will ever experience. St. Augustine is a very special and event filled town. Everything is within walking distance.
